
The advanced training program “Organization of the Pharmacovigilance System for Holders of Registration Certificates for Medicines” has been successfully completed. The training was organized by the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine at Lomonosov Moscow State University in collaboration with the Pharma Compliance Agency LLC.

The relevance of the topics and the expertise of the lecturers attracted 39 participants to the program – representatives of both domestic and international pharmaceutical companies. Among the speakers were representatives of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare (Roszdravnadzor), as well as leading pharmacovigilance specialists from international and Russian pharmaceutical companies.
The program covered the key changes in the “Rules of Good Pharmacovigilance Practice of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)” which came into force on December 6, 2022, as well as the specifics and differences in national pharmacovigilance requirements of the EAEU member states. During the on-site part of the program, in addition to lectures and seminars, participants engaged in live discussions.
Both attendees and lecturers highly rated the completed training (9.38 out of 10) – noting the relevance of the material for their work and its accessible presentation, the opportunity for valuable communication with representatives of regulatory authorities and industry specialists, and they also left excellent feedback on the event’s organization (9.72 out of 10). Furthermore, participants expressed a desire for such educational projects to be held more frequently.
